Identifying the variety of instructional media and materials, functions, and how they were utilized were tackled in this week’s reading.

Being an aspiring educator, finding the right technology and media to use helps the students enhance their skills more, but in this module, it made me realize that delivery keeps the students immersed with the topic at hand. Since not all educators are able to keep up with the modernization of technologies, they need the skills to properly use the technologies applicable for the students to make the learning more effective.

During the surge of the COVID-19 in the Philippines, and before the start of the new school year with online classes as the new media, the last quarter of the ongoing face to face school year were forced to an immediate online learning. Everyone, both the students and teachers, were having a hard time trying top cope with the new environment and this is where it is important to have the said skills and resiliency.

As an aspiring educator, I, too, should learn how to be resilient and versatile with my teaching methods for a more student-centered learning.
